I'm sure you've all heard the horror stories of what happens when you stop smoking. So take some time and look at what is really going on, both good and bad.
Like any addiction, when you stop smoking, your body still needs what you are addicted to, in this case, the nicotine from cigarettes. Your body is still craving for nicotine that has been used. You can find things such as dizziness, irritability, headache or dry mouth.
You may find yourself craving sweets that the body is looking for ways to satisfy your cravings. Another withdrawal symptom is what is known as "people who have had the flu." This is again due to nicotine withdrawal that your body is facing. It's a bit like having a cold or a case of Benin flu.
What you need to remember is that each of these symptoms are only temporary and focus instead on what it means to finally be smoke-free.
There are many ways to fight against the symptoms of nicotine withdrawal. Many people opt for programs such as the nicotine patch, oral medications or laser therapy. The method you choose depends entirely on you. All showed good results.
Now briefly what happens when you stop smoking inside, leaving. Almost immediately, blood pressure and the rate of return to the heart of normal. Your body starts a healing process. You begin to breathe better after a few days. Your smokers cough begins to decrease. Your sense of taste and smell can be improved. Your sex life will improve through better circulation.
After a few months damaged nerves begin to regenerate. Your lungs begin to heal itself. You can fight various infections more effectively. Your chances of heart attack and stroke starts to drop dramatically. You begin to have more energy in your life compared to when smoked.
The longer you stay on the path of freedom, healthy and those around you will become smoke. You start to add days to life instead of taking days off because of the disastrous effects of smoking causes. You've heard the statistics. You know how many people die each year because of smoking.
The more you know about what happens when you stop smoking, you will be better able to deal with all of them and deal with it. Nobody said it was going to be an easy choice, but at this point I know it's a choice. Remember those statistics that we have played before? Please do not be one of them.
