In my years as a smoker, research how to quit smoking, I can truly say that there must be more than 60 ways to quit smoking available. Some are effective, others less, and to be honest, some are ridiculous. But just because some methods do not work for some people, does not mean they can not be effective for many.
So how have stopped smoking methods are there? Well, I think it is important to address the known methods first.
The most common method of many ways to quit smoking is a good old fashioned punch. This is usually done by setting a date to quit smoking, you prepare for that day and after the use of brute force will overcome your urge to smoke before probably capitulate after a day. Among the many ways exist to stop smoking more, studies suggest cold turkey has about a 20 chance of success.
The second best known of the many ways to quit smoking method is the therapy of nicotine replacement (NRT). I personally do not like this method to stop smoking because nicotine used to try to help smokers nicotine. I think this is completely stupid! This is crazy! To learn more about my hatred of NRT, look for my article link Scam replacement therapy nicotine to the bottom of this article.
However, as much as I do not agree with the approach of the NRT to quit smoking, which has a higher success rate than cold turkey with about 1 in 10 people stopped smoking for more than 1 year - but not quit nicotine! Many people using this method find themselves in debt to pharmaceutical companies instead of tobacco companies and are not free from nicotine addiction.
Another of the many ways to quit smoking is to use drugs like Zyban (Wellbutrin, or bupropion) and Chantix (Champix or the United Kingdom). These methods can be combined with NRC, but in fact, that interfere with the psychoactive effects of nicotine in the brain. Unfortunately, even the big brain boxes that design these drugs are not smart enough to know exactly how they work, it could be a concern.
The use of these drugs can have side effects ranging from mild to severe. Chantix can cause severe nausea to the point that patients should stop taking the drug and about 1 in 1,000 users Zyban end up having convulsions.
Hypnosis is another option if little understood well known among the many ways to quit smoking available for smokers. Although there are many skeptics about this process, anecdotal evidence suggests it can be very effective. In addition, smokers can use a hypnotist locally or just buy courses online audio hypnosis. In terms of accessibility and efficiency, making hypnosis serious consideration for any aspiring deserter.
A lesser known method to quit smoking is the use of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Hypnosis, where his brain is actually "re-programmed" to stop you smoke, making the choices emotional associations with their behavior is the opposite of CBT.
Instead of hiding emotions, using CBT smoker takles front. CBT usually smokers exposed to a number of facts about smoking are not accepted in society. An example would be that smoking is not a habit; is a nicotine addiction - call a bad habit.
Using CBT to reveal many of the misconceptions of smoking, smokers find that they can have a moment "epiphany". This revelation can reveal to them what smoking really is and makes it incredibly easy to leave.
The only drawback of the system is that only the smoker can have the epiphany! There is no way you can be imposed on a smoker to have an open mind is crucial for success with CBT. However, despite this concern, CBT has been shown to be incredibly effective with anecdotal evidence success rate of up to 96%.
Anyway, what ever the many ways to quit smoking can choose whether CBT, NRT, Zyban or hypnosis, the most important approach is to keep trying to quit. Never stop trying to quit!
